ALL motorcycle riders who wish to gather at the designated assembly points before riding to the final assembly point – please refer to the bottom of this message.
ASSEMBLY POINTS
The final assembly point is Jan Ellis Total Energies just off the N14 highway at the R515 off-ramp. It is also shown on Google Maps as Alzu Feeds Rayton and KFC Rayton, so please make sure you have the correct place. From here, it is about 1,8km to the Kakiebos Pub & Grill.
We want to leave here no later than 09:30, and the following instructions will allow you to ride comfortably from your assembly point and still be at Alzu Feeds not much later than 09:00.
Members of the Wing Riders co-ordinating the various assembly points, please identify yourselves to our other biker brothers and sisters, and brief them accordingly.
WITBANK/MIDDELBURG RIDERS

Come together at the parking area in front of McDonald’s at the Highveld Ridge Casino from about 07:30. You will leave from there at no later than 08:00 for the 50-minute and 78km ride to the final assembly point. Simply proceed straight down the N4 towards Pretoria and then turn off just past the Diamond Hill Toll Plaza. Turn north onto the R515, and Alzu Feeds is just over the highway on your left. Diamond Hill toll plaza fees are R49,00.
PRETORIA AREA RIDERS

Come together in the parking lot of Mustang Sally in Hatfield from 08:00. You will leave from there no later than 08:30 for the ride, which is about 31km and will take about 25 minutes. Proceed straight down the N4 towards Witbank, take the R515 Cullinan offramp, and then turn left over the highway. Alzu Feeds is about 200m further on your left-hand side. The toll fees on the off-ramp are R20,00.
EAST RAND RIDERS

You should all come together at this Sasol garage from about 07:30. You should leave here no later than 08:00, and it is about 1 hour and 58km worth of riding. Proceed north along Atlas Road and then turn right onto the N12 towards Witbank/Emalahleni, and then left onto the R51 towards Bapsfontein and Bronkhorstspruit. Alzu Feeds is about 200m over the N4 freeway on your left-hand side.
ALBERTON AND JHB SOUTH RIDERS

You will depart from the Sasol Randhart garage at no later than 07:30 for the 1 hour and 20 minutes trip over 103km. Come together at the Sasol Garage in Michelle Ave in Randhart from about 07:15. Take the R59, then the N12 onto the N3, then onto the N12 eastwards, and then onto the R21 past the airport. Continue on the R21 till it joins the N1 in Centurion, and from there on to the N4 towards Witbank. Then left onto the R515 offramp. Alzu Feeds is about 200m from there on your left-hand side. The toll fees on the off-ramp are R20,00.
WEST RAND RIDERS

West Rand riders assemble at the Sasol Pinehaven garage from about 07:30 and leave no later than 08:00 for a ride of about 90km, which will take about 1 hour. Follow the N14, turn east on the N4 towards Witbank, and then left onto the R515 offramp. Alzu Feeds is about 200m from there on your left-hand side. The toll fees on the off-ramp are R20,00.
GENERAL:
We will depart from the FINAL assembly point (Alzu Feeds Rayton: https://maps.app.goo.gl/KJG9M9x8rCrzdjTa6) no later than 09:30, and assembly time is thus from 09:00 onwards.
For the last portion of the ride, the following is extremely important:
1) Discipline from all participants is critical. No overtaking will be permitted; please just stay in your position. Please stick to all the road regulations. We will ride in staggered formation. I will be briefing everyone at the departure point regarding any last-minute updates. It’s not every day that we ride in formation with another club, and we must get it right the first time.
2) Look out for the marshals that will be assisting with traffic control, and PLEASE obey their instructions.
3) As Road Captain of the Wing Riders, Luke Hartog will be leading the ride.
4) Immediately behind me will be the President of Wing Riders and the President of Steelwings.
5) Behind the presidents will be the trikes, and after that the bikes.
6) At the venue, we will be guided to the parking area. There is lots of space, just be patient, it’s going to get busy.
7) Once parked, ALL riders and pillion riders will proceed to the collection area where we can drop off whatever you have brought along. Please do not disperse and go your own way just yet.
Once that is done, we will assemble for a group photo, and after that, you are free to socialise and do as you please for the remainder of the day.Please Note:
All motorcycle riders and their pillions are kindly requested to remain near the Wet Nose vehicle until the official handover of donations. This will take place shortly after we arrive at Kakiebos. This is important for media coverage, including photos and drone footage.
