68 Central Chapter members and guests joined the first run for 2019 yesterday. Members drove in groups from all wind directions to join up at the Imagine Café which is situated at the Bronkhostspruit Dam. It was lovely to see our Wing family again, especially on a run with almost all members present. Everyone was seated outside in a shaded and private enclosure and enjoyed a lovely meal with fresh and generous portions. A surprise for us, was that the famous Anton Smit sculpture studio is part of the Imagine Café with mind-blowing works to view, inside and outside. The...

Central Chapter: Report by Chairperson, Jaap Grobler, at AGM on 18 November 20187

It is my great pleasure to present a very healthy and active report of activities by Central Chapter for 2018. Membership 2017 Central Chapter members who re-joined in 2018: 67 members At the end of October 2018, the member count is at 85 paid-up members. Unfortunate incidents There were, unfortunately, a number of negative incidents Chapter members had to deal with during the year: We carry in our thoughts the passing of Pax Mosterd, an active member. Central Chapter: 2018 Year-end function and AGM

Thank you to members of Central Chapter who participated in a most enjoyable weekend spent at Stonehenge in Africa from 16 to 18 November 2018. Some of our members chose the camping option, while others stayed in the lodge. This is where we enjoyed our burger braai on Friday night, where we laughed until we cried and sang songs led by Neels van Niekerk on the ukulele and Retha Roos on the guitar.   Dinner and dancing and again, much fun and laughter:   Congratulations to the 2019 Central Chapter Committee. Chapter members are looking forward to another exciting year...

Central Chapter run: Hô-Kaai Bistro, Loskop Dam area and to Hendrik and Maria Sadie in Groblersdal

Members from Central Chapter travelled from everywhere to meet up at the last departure point in Witbank. From there we travelled to Hô-Kaai Pub & Bistro, situated next to the N11 between Middelburg and Groblersdal where we had a buffet brunch while enjoying our friends' company. By 14:00, some members went home and the rest travelled to Groblersdal where we stayed over at the B&B of Hendrik and Maria Sadie. We had a braai with delicious side dishes and Rita Schoeman's birthday cake for dessert. Thank you for sharing your birthday with us, Rita. Breakfast was fruit salad and yoghurt and...
