As 2022 draws to a close, it provides that all-important opportunity to reflect on another year.
Wing Riders SA has a history and a legacy. When you joined, you became more than just one individual who loves to ride. You became a part of an overarching legacy that was there before and will probably be there once you are gone.
As soon as you joined WRSA, you met like-minded people who all love to ride their Gold Wings – the nexus of our association. All of us started friendships around the common interest of our Gold Wings and then expanded and deepened relationships as we got to know each other better. With each ride, most of us grew friendships as we all added to our riding skills while exploring new places.
Thank you to every member for your continued commitment to Wing Riders SA and to our ongoing mission and vision to create an atmosphere that all members will find enjoyable; to maintain a culture which fosters members with shared values; to be family-orientated; to respect all religions and be a non-political association; and to be respected by setting an example of being the best motorcycle association.
Every year-end brings a time of reflection. Year-ends help us to understand where we were, and where we are now. Most powerfully, I believe, they should inspire us to think of where we hope to be.
This holiday period should encourage us all to do the same. To reflect. To learn. To appreciate. And then, look forward to a new year with a renewed sense of hope and purpose.
While we may not be celebrating our festivities together in person, my good wishes to each of you come with my deepest gratitude. Thank you for being part of Wing Riders SA and for making every social gathering a huge pleasure to attend.
From our family to yours, we wish you a wonderful holiday season and for those who celebrate, I wish you a blessed Christmas during which you and your loved ones will experience happiness, peace and love. We look forward to a new year that finds us happier and healthier – and not taking for granted our many blessings … and to many safe outrides in the new year
