On Sunday, 15 April 2018, Western Cape Chapter of Wing Riders SA had a run, to Caledon as the turn-around destination. Members met at the BP garage in Strand at 09:00. Three of us had conversations with other bikers who we met at the garage, we looked at each other’s bikes and discussed motorcycling in general. After having waited until 09:15, we decided to leave and head towards Gordon’s Bay. We enjoyed the scenic view of the mountain and sea. For our first run of 2018, we all met at the N1 Engen Winelands 1-stop North and departed at 08:30. Vrydag en Saterdag waai die suidoos stormsterk in Gordonsbaai, die kraaie gaap in Worcester, so ek was bly toe André sê ons kan met die motor gaan op ons uitrit! Sondagoggend is dit natuurlik windstil, maar ons hou maar by ons besluit.           A few members took the Klapmuts road to Stellenbosch where we waited for the other at Helshoogte. With all the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season, people sometimes forget that this holiday is about sharing peace and joy with others. As an act of kindness, three biker groups got together on Sunday, 10 December 2017. Wing Riders Western Cape Chapter joined in to assist the care centre called "Helpende Handjies" by collecting food items and taking it to Montagu for children from the squatter camp. Written by Amorita Engelbrecht Die “Club Captain” het 'n lekker rit gereël vir ons – eers ontbyt by ons nuwe vriende in die Hexriviervallei, Gerdus en Cynthia en James en Rozanne, en daarna na Krish en Gail vir middagete.  Ons was verras oor die groot aantal Wings wat opgedaag het. Die oggend was lekker koel, ons het veilig gery en toe ons by Gerdus-hulle se plaas kom, wag daar 'n feesmaal op ons!  Almal het vermoedelik heeltemal te veel geëet, ons het lekker gesels en toe neem Gerdus ons deur hulle pragtige groen vallei – ons ry mos altyd net...
