Here goes with the arrangements for next Sunday, the 11th of February.
We will enjoy a buffet breakfast at The Beer Company restaurant which is located right next to the SAA Museum Society in Germiston. We need to be there by 09:00 and our Wings will be parked, by special arrangement, under the wings of a Boeing for a unique photo shoot. After breakfast, there will be time for a guided tour of the facility.
The private parking and tour, comes at a cost of R40 per person. The breakfast buffet is R70 per person and they have a very special selection of ice-cold cocktail tasters.
In order to get a few miles in before breakfast, our final meeting point will be at the R21 Engen Highveld 1-Stop South (going towards OR Tambo). From there it is about 40 km (30 minutes), so we need to leave there latest at 8:30 a.m.
• Jhb South members meet at Comaro Crossing Engen and leave at the latest at 7:40.
• West Rand members meet at Pinehaven and leave there at the latest 7:30 (via N14 and R21).
• Witbank/Middelburg members meet at McDonalds (usual place) and leave at the latest 6:50.
• Pretoria members meet at the McDonalds next to Mustang Sally’s and leave there at the latest 7:50.
