Central Chapter was invited by the Emergency Support Team to attend their Arrive Alive fundraiser and awareness campaign on Saturday, 13 April 2019. Wing Riders SA fully support the great work that Arrive Alive does in our country. As motorcycle riders, road safety and the adherence to road traffic rules and laws in order to save lives, are of the utmost importance to each one of us. WC Chapter: Run to George, 21 to 24 March 2019

Our weekend started off with an arrangement to meet at Buffelsjag for breakfast at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, 21st March. André and Amorita had left early the morning and was there well before the meeting time and we agreed for him to carry on. Donny and Suzette were so eager to get to George, they missed the breakfast. Delphius decided to leave that same morning from Calvinia, and that was 800 km from George, so he was not going to make breakfast. Great ride to George, with roadworks along the way. On arrival at Loerie Guest Lodge, we met up...

Honorary Member of Wing Riders SA: Linda Casey

Allan and Linda Casey became members of Wing Riders SA many years ago and worked very hard for our Association over the years. Allan became an Honorary Member in 2009. It is not clear why Linda was not also bestowed this honour at the time, but Wing Riders SA was able to correct this gross error this past Sunday, 24 February 2019, by making Linda an Honorary Member too. Congratulations, Linda. Central Chapter and Big Rigs went to Middelburg on 24 February 2019

Motorists on the N12 and the N4, and spectators in Middelburg, were treated to a spectacular sight this weekend. The public had an exciting opportunity to view ridiculously cool, rare, sought-after and beautiful motorcycles and trucks – together. Wing Riders of South Africa and friends, and Big Rigs, rode together on Sunday, 24 February, from Johannesburg to Middelburg. The Honda Gold Wing is internationally known as “the bike that makes you smile”. To have had the opportunity to see these motorcycles, riding in convoy with huge, powerful, shiny, well-loved trucks, created several goosebumps moments. Wing Riders of South Africa prides...

Western Cape Chapter: Progressive run, Worcester – Malmesbury, 20 January 2019
