On Sunday, 11 February 2018, the Central Chapter of Wing Riders SA motorcycle club had their monthly run to the SAA Museum in Germiston. Their main goal was to treat Neels van Zyl to an awesome outing, as motorcycles STILL make his eyes sparkle with joy. Neelsie, as most people call him affectionately, had a motorcycle accident just one month before his 16th birthday which left him with a serious left-brain injury and, as a result, he became a right-side hemiplegic. Hello Everybody As we get more into the swing of chapter-related matters, we try new things. Some more successful than others, but if you do not try, you will never know. After breakfast, there will be time for a guided tour of the facility. The private parking and tour, comes at a cost of R40 per person. The breakfast buffet is R70 per person and they have a very...
For our first run of 2018, we all met at the N1 Engen Winelands 1-stop North and departed at 08:30. A few members took the Klapmuts road to Stellenbosch where we waited for the other at Helshoogte. Buite die Paarl, kom sewe Wings en ons en Boet met voertuie bymekaar. 'n Lekker groupie...
