2018 Mini Wing Fling to Kakamas

  On Thursday, 26 April 2018, members of Central Chapter departed from Comaro Street in Johannesburg South, and members of Western Cape Chapter departed from Cape Town and surrounds to travel to the Mini Wing Fling which was held in Kakamas. Central Chapter travelled to Kimberley for their overnight stay and WC Chapter to Calvinia. Old friends met up at Dick and Meisie Venter's hotel, Kalahari Gateway in Kakamas, during the late afternoon on Friday, 27 April 2018, and enjoyed a delicious braai for dinner. Western Cape Chapter: Run to Caledon on 15 April 2018

On Sunday, 15 April 2018, Western Cape Chapter of Wing Riders SA had a run, to Caledon as the turn-around destination. Members met at the BP garage in Strand at 09:00. Three of us had conversations with other bikers who we met at the garage, we looked at each other’s bikes and discussed motorcycling in general. Central Chapter run: Aviators, Hartbeespoort Dam, 14 April 2018

Central Chapter went to the Aviators Tavern and Craft Brewing Company on Saturday, 14 April 2018. It is situated along the R512, close to the Hartbeespoort Dam (see www.aviators.co.za). This was our first Saturday run, as was requested by Central Chapter members, and was well attended by Chapter members and guests - several of whom indicated that they plan to join the Chapter in the near future. Central Chapter run: 14 April 2018

Central Chapter will be going to the Aviators Tavern and Craft Brewing Company this Saturday, 14 April 2018. It is situated along the R512, close to the Hartbeespoort Dam (see www.aviators.co.za). This is our first Saturday run, as was requested by Central Chapter members, and we hope to maintain the same numbers we have become accustomed to. Therefore, no lawn-mowing and shopping this Saturday! Central Chapter run: Cullinan and Nic & Maraai’s home

53 Members of Central Chapter plus 4 guests on 17 bikes and 19 trikes, joined the Chapter for its monthly run today. Members came from all directions and gathered at the final gathering point just before Cullinan. After exploring Cullinan, everyone departed on the short ride to Nic and Maraai Hechter's home for a bring and braai. Everyone parked their bikes and trikes in the shade under big trees and then made themselves comfortable in the huge lapa.
