Here goes with the arrangements for next Sunday, the 11th of February. We will enjoy a buffet breakfast at The Beer Company restaurant which is located right next to the SAA Museum Society in Germiston. We need to be there by 09:00 and our Wings will be parked, by special arrangement, under the wings of a Boeing for a unique photo shoot. For our first run of 2018, we all met at the N1 Engen Winelands 1-stop North and departed at 08:30. Central Chapter smelled the roses … at Ludwig’s Roses, north of Pretoria, on our first monthly run for 2018. Members came from all over Johannesburg, Pretoria, Bronkhorstspruit, Witbank, Middelburg and Groblersdal and gathered at the final departure point in Centurion. We arrived at Ludwig’s Roses at 11:00 and a delicious lunch was served at 12:30. Most of us even enjoyed a Rose Milkshake – divine! 32 bikes and trikes and approximately 50 people joined this run. Our planned run is scheduled for 21 January 2018 as follows: We will leave from the N1 Engen Winelands 1-stop North at 08:30, so please be there at 08:00. With all the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season, people sometimes forget that this holiday is about sharing peace and joy with others. As an act of kindness, three biker groups got together on Sunday, 10 December 2017. Wing Riders Western Cape Chapter joined in to assist the care centre called "Helpende Handjies" by collecting food items and taking it to Montagu for children from the squatter camp.
